Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

I'm SO proud to be an American!
Wow.. I'm proud to be American today.
This morning, my love and I woke up and went to vote. We figured it would take about 5 minutes, that's all voting has ever taken at our polling place.... but when we got there... WOW... there was already a 30 minute wait and I ended up being # 232 and the polls had only been opened about an hour and a half!
All I can say is... Good for you America! Keep up the good work. I have my own preferences on the voting thing, but I won't state them. I've always believed it's more important that you vote, than who you vote for.
Thank you America! You make me proud!
in other news.. my nephew is still in Afghanistan and his leave for Thanksgiving has been pulled back, so he won't be home. I'm still sending care packages, so anything you have to give, I'll cheerfully thank you for it and send it on.
