What to say
Wow... I'd like to say it's amazing the number of people who loved and adored Gyrth, but it isn't amazing, it's just the truth.
I had the chance to meet him once, and I felt so self conscious and doubted my own worth so much I passed up a great opportunity. I doubt he even knew who I was, but he was always sweet, loving and caring to everyone, even to people he didn't know very well or at all.
He IS the ideal that people strive to. He is loved, respected, revered and he is what many people should hope to be someday.
I wish I'd taken the opportunity when it presented itself instead of scurring away.
To Mel and Michael, my thoughts and prayers are with you as is everyone else's. Thank you for sharing him with us, we are all the better for knowing him and you.
