Aha! Finally! I can add an entry!
What's new you ask? Well, i'm glad you asked.... It apepars that I'm going to give rapier fighting another try. This weekend is Academie of the Rapier, and I'm going with Gorm. The plan is to take a few rapier classes and work with someone one on one to get back some of the memory that I'd lost when I stopped fighting to deal with the diabetes and the bad knees.
I guess the stairs at work has helped. My knees were sore as hell for the first week or so.. but after almost two months of stair climbing, they're pretty much as good as they're going to get without exercise... and I had fun with rapier fighting... so i'm going to use it as my exercise and see how it goes.
I gotta run... a meeting has been called.
