2004-06-20 - 11:19 a.m. Just be happy Wel, it's father's day..and I just want you all to know that i'm jealous as hell that you can have father's visit and talk about wall switches and coming to visit. For some odd reason I really miss my Dad lately, but oh well. It's been 10 years, so I really shouldn't, I guess it's time "to get over it". But I can't tell you what I'd give to have my dad (and/or mom) come over for a dinner I wasn't sure we were going to eat, or to come look at our house, or to work on projects or to just be here so I could just be there to be with them. In short, be grateful and feel lucky that you have parents who are able to come and visit and be with you and enjoy your company. They're gone too fast and they should be appreciated for the fact that they love you and care for you and that what they want the most for you in your happiness, regardless of how they deliver that message. Well, I need to go, my husband needs to call his father and wish him a Happy Father's day; then I get to go and sew on a dayshade... Yeay me. I really just want to eat myself into a coma today and just wait for this god-awful day to pass. God I hate Father's Day. Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE! |
