Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

choices .... choices
The rest of the weekend went rather well. We had a great time Saturday evening. We spent it with a great group of friends in Northern Virginia. We had a little to drink, exchanged stories and just generally had a great time. My knee was sore and while folks did what they could to be helpful, but they weren't treating me like I was made of glass, which I dearly appreciate!
Sunday was a day spent working on projects for the upcoming pas. We got a LOT done, although we still have more to do. I'm working on my version of a cotehardie in passion plum linen. Yep, it's my first real linen dress. I'm going to have it lace up the front with a white ribbon. It should be awesome! 60 inch wide fabric is just so neat it's not funny. i still ahve to make the underdress, but it's getting there.
I've got a house to clean before people come this weekend. Everyone elses house was so beautiful and put together, I hope no one minds the chaotic-ness of ours.

I got a bit of news last night that while it doesn't affect me directly anymore, I still feel bad and wish I could help fix the problems and make it better, but I can't. My thoughts are with them and I hope it comes to the right conclusion.
