Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

Umm.. whatever! :)
Well, the state application is done. I want Gorm to look it over just to be sure I haven't accidentally called someone a knuckle-dragging neanderthal or anything.
Not much else going on. The dogs had their chance to be outside today and they loved every second of it.
My sciatica (at least that's what I think it is) has ben acting up today. I can't stand the half-numbness in my hip and upper thigh and then the stabbing pain when I try to straighten up, followed by the jello-like feeling when I try to walk. It doesn't happen often, and unfortunately, it's gone before I can get someone to look at it.
It's only 10:12 and I'm tired. Go figure.
As for the abortion issue, all I can say is this.... *I* personally wouldn't have an abortion, but I can see instances where it IS the right thing to do. While adoption is AN alternative, it's not the answer to the question. People like me and Gorm don't get the chance to adopt babies; there are plenty of options for birth control and the best way is abstinance, but that's not going to happen in this day and age. I don't think abortion should be used as a form of bith control, but in the case of rape or incest, I can see and agree that those two items are wonderful reasons for such a surgery.
As for whether or not it should be used to protect the life of the mother, I think that's a decision for the four of them, the mother, the father, the doctor and thier God. I have as much right to have input into her life during such a decision as she has in MY bedroom telling me what or who I can and can't sleep with.
How's that for weird reasoning?
Okay.. I'm tired, for some reason I can't keep my eyes open past 10:20 tonight, so I'm going to call it a night.
