Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

2003-04-24 - 11:20 a.m.

In remembrance

A couple of years ago (maybe more) there was a billboard around Richmond that had the words "what do you want on your tombstone". Originally, I thought it was one of those "stop and think" ads and not a frozen pizza ad. I had no idea there was such a creature as Tombstone pizza.

Anyway, I saw that billboard almost every day (I can't remember now where it was, but I know I saw it a LOT). From the moment I first read it, it got me thinking. Were I to die, what would people REMEMBER about me. (Not what they'd say... but what would they remember about me).

What's the one sentence I'd want to look down from heaven (or up, or over) and see on my gravestone. Would I like what I see.

It used to be "She had no regrets" but that's not exactly true anymore.

This one will take some pondering. Any takers.. what's the one thing you'd like people to remember about you?

Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE!

For Matt, come home safe and sound! We miss you!
