2003-04-11 - 11:00 a.m. Two Grrrs in a week is a LOT! This is my first entry for today, here's my second one. How's this for I spit on you.... one of the co-workers that I've been working with for about the past nine months or longer put in her two weeks notice about two weeks ago... today is her last day. In an effort to be friendly a group of us were going to take her out for a goodbye lunch around noon. Our supervisors knew we were taking her out to lunch ON OUR TIME. Just a few minutes ago, our supervisor came by and told her that they didn't think she'd be productive today so she needed to pack up her stuff and leave. Our supervisor stood there and watched her pack up her stuff, log off of her computer and the like then escorted her to the elevator. Now I gotta say this, and I can say it to my friends... but how skanky is that to do to someone who's worked damn hard for almost a year... what would another hour have hurt... it would have cost them a measly $11.86 to let her stay through lunch. I also found out that we have a "mole". There's a person here who's a tattletale to the extreme. Another co-worker told me that the mole went into the cube of the person who was escorted out while she was still there and found her surfing the internet. The one that left went on her break and when she came back, the mole was at the elevator asking her to get her timekeeping done. Shortly after that, our supervisor came over to her and told her to leave. Apparently this isn't the first time the mole tattled. Remember when you could trust the people you work with to at least keep their nose out of your business? Well, now I know why she got promoted about 4 months back. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr... I GOTTA get outta here! On a brighter note, I just found out what my prize is for winning the documentation category at Coronation...4 yeards of SILK! WOW! Now.. what'm I gonna do with that much silk.... ideas are always welcome! Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE! |
