Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

2003-04-10 - 10:42 a.m.

Quack!

Let's see.. what's up for today.. nothing much really, trying to fight off a cold, trying to find someone to take care of the puppies during events and the like for the next few weekends.. trying to get all the sapphire stuff I'm responsible for together.,, you know what I mean... all the various and sundry crap that goes along with having a busy life.

I got all of my navy yarn measured last night. Tonight I work on the natural yarn and then get it on the loom and ready to be woven. It'll be about three yards long and something close to a foot wide.

Then once it's wetfinished and dried, I'm going to make the cap. It won't be handsewn, but it'll work. I know it will.

I think the "busy season" has started. My goal is No Stress, but to get it all done. It'll happen, I just have to practice serenity (or at least my duck-move) while I'm doing it all :)

Somewhere I heard that all of this should at least LOOK easy even if it's anything but.

So... quack! (Grin!)

My Three things I'd tell myself three years ago... 1. Keep looking for a state job. 2. The Money isn't worth four months of him in Norfolk, 3. getting rid of the second car is not a GOOD idea.

Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE!

For Matt, come home safe and sound! We miss you!
