2003-03-31 - 8:43 p.m. What a day I'm here, feelin' a bit green :( I woke up this a.m. with dry heaves and it just went downhill from there. I think I'm going to bed early tonight... like right about now. I've got my big loom warped with my latest inkle loom project.. since it's only about 46 strings it didn't really take long (each one is 8 yards long, though). One of the pegs on my inkle loom needs to be refinished, so it was grabbing the yarn instead of letting it slide along the peg. I carefully took it all off the inkle loom and managed to get it onto my loom with little or no fuss. I spent about an hour working on it tonight and I've got about a yard done. I'm supposed to have "a lot" done by Pennsic and at this moment, I don't see why that wouldn't happen. I've got the bibliography to finish on my documentation for this weekend, and then I've got to put some thought into how to display the weaving I did. I got a boatload of yarn this weekend from a very benevolent source, it's all beautiful and cotton... now I just have to figure out what to do with it.... right now, it looks like dishtowels for the moment; but I now have some thin yarn and I can try some of the other weave structures I've been drooling over that look best with the thinner stuff. Okay.. I think I need to go throw up again :( Lucky me. Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE! |
