Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

Monday musings

Well, I'm still all float-y from the event. Yes, it was THAT good, and not just because I got an award. You had to be tehre to see how things really ought to be. It WAS just an incredible set of circumstances that came together rather well.

Yesterday found me at work for a few hours, then home for a much needed nap (I got home, took off my shoes and fell asleep in the computer chair.. I woke up and decided that if I was that tired, I needed to take a real nap.) Two hours later, my love gently woke me up and we planned the rest of the evening (shopping for groceries and a few presents).

With that done, we came home to a delicious Chef Wondre' meal, followed by two hours of JunkYard Wars... it just doesn't get any better than that!

I fell asleep once I was certain that we had clean clothes for Monday, and drifted off to sleep into that "I-know-Karin-is-coming-tomorrow-and everything will be clean" sleep of the truly messy.

I woke up at 4:30 this morning to see a lump at the end of the bed and Honey whining her little butt off. Sphygo had fallen asleep at the foot of the bed, and my love just left him there...Honey woke up and decided she was having NONE of that in HER bed. So once we woke up, my love told Sphygo to go home, and he did... my love closed the door and we all went back to sleep, until 5:30; when the cat siren went off. I ignored it until 6:00 when the dog symphony started and then I got up to start my day.

I work late today, then we go bowl (against the Lickity splits, no less); and then home. Tomorrow, I'm making COOKIES!

Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE!

For Matt, come home safe and sound! We miss you!
