Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

Public speaking and WW
I don't recall anyone telling me public speaking was part of this new job. I have to give a short presentation this morning on something I've only been doing since late March, but seem to be one of the top 4 people who do it well consistently. I guess that's good, but well, I hate public speaking. My partner for this "thing" doesn't speak English all that well, so the powers that be have decided that he can stand there while I do all the talking. How.... fun.
My sweetie and I have been talking a lot about Weight Watchers lately. He doesn't see the value in spending the money to lose weight and I am discouraged with how things are progressing, so we're at an impass and I don't really know what to do. Perhaps this isn't the place to go into details about the two opinions....
So I'll just ask this one question...Is there anyone out there who has the weight watchers winning points starter book I can LOOK at for a bit?
