Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

2002-04-07 - 8:24 p.m.

Weekend gone by

Well, another weekend has come and gone.. it's 8:30 on Sunday night and I'm wondering where the weekend went. Yesterday was spent getting ready for the LOI meeting today, and came and lasted for about 6 hours, then was over. Finally.

I'm still trying to get over this cold/allegy thing/whatever it is, and I'm still kinda congested and coughing up stuff, I'm not feeling the best, I'm kinda tired but I had a lot to do to get ready, so i got it done. And I'm glad.

I had my first coke (and other "bad" foods) in a week yesterday, and I think it helped my blood sugar get to 245; and I really felt awful most of the day; so I guess it's back to the diet.

On a good note, we did a weigh in this morning, and while the scale isn't that accurate (we're both near the top-out) end, the needle moved about 8 marks for my love and about 5 for me. I'm not ready to say I lost 5 pounds this week on diet alone, so we'll see if the needle keeps dropping as the weeks go by. We're staying within 2400 calories and not exercising, so I don't really see how we could lose that much weight in a week, but who knows.

Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE!

For Matt, come home safe and sound! We miss you!
