Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

VCU Is Ovah!
Well, VCU is over. It was hard leaving, knowing I wouldn't ever be back and moving on. That was where I worked when my mother died, and I've been thinking about that latey. How that felt how the people I worked with reacted, that sort of thing.
Things are totally different there now. All I got from my boss when I left at 4:45 (he made me work my last day out to the very end, complete with an interrupted lunch); was a 10 second "thanks for everything, Goodbye!" I felt a Weakest Link reject.
I'm home for the next two days (they'll be busy days though, we seem to be a bit over-committed this weekend); and in between all of that, I've got to hunt up the documentation needed for the loan we're getting (we were pre-approved... did I tell you?).
Well, it's time for me to get going--lata!
