Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

He's here and he's doing well
Well, the latest addition to our family is home and doing well. Bingo, is a Cockatiel that was "Free to a good home". He's about three times the size of Riley the parrotlet, and he's a bit louder, but he's sweet and funny and just beautiful.
I'm just ecstatic!
The other news is Sarna's, and I'll let her tell you, or not.
Not much else going on, getting ready for a visit from the in-laws and then there's last chance in the distance and coming up FAST!
Please please please if you can, consider coming out for some awesome melee practice. The field is HUGE. Also, if anyone knows how to reach Duke Ragnarr, could you have him contact me or Gorm. We have an event-related question for him :-)
My nephew is on his way to Afghanistan so there's no news on that front.
and oh yeah.. I managed to cut my index finger on some aluminum foil, after a day of weirdness (the elevator spoke to me and offered me a home satellite system if I'd only press "9" it would connect me with a customer service rep... Boy am I glad there wasn't a "9" button! It was pretty funny; I half-wondered if it wasn't some sort of "Candid Camera" episode.
