Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

Waiting is NOT my strong suit.
it's been a busy and a bit disappointing all at the same time. We finally got some work done outside of the house, I got a few projects finished that I've been procrastinating over done.. and that's cool.
I was looking forward to a houseguest on Saturday night, but life happened, and that's okay.. really. I'm still looking forward to Crown Tournament and after that I'm teaching inkle weaving at Heroes Portion and after that is Sapphire.. so I've got a full plate, but happily so.
I'm waiting on a phone call to talk about garb and stuff; hopefully it'll come soon.. I'm not very patient on the phone call thing.. but that's MY problem :-)
My love is at work and as stupid as it sounds, I miss him.. even though it's only been a couple of hours and there's a few hours more to go (he should be home around 9:00 instead of midnight, which is better... but I miss my constant best friend.
I'm sure I'll live, but I wish I had something to focus on instead right now... I'm watching the "Bravo" channel if that's any indication that there's nothing going on.
It's just amazing how when your vehicle is in the driveway, you don't need anything, but the minute it drives away, you suddenly need lots of stuff... like a phillips-head screw driver.. I can really use one of those right now....
Oh well.. sigh... it's after 6:00, so I can have dinner now.
