2004-03-25 - 6:52 a.m. The Diet, Gym and etc. I was in the midst of writing my entry for today and got sidetracked looking at Quatre Barres photos. Master Thomas takes some relly good pictures. Anyway, as I was saying (it got eaten) the diet yesterday didn't go as well as I'd hoped.. something about being hungry and will power. I ate a modest 21 grams of Carbs for breakfast (apple and 2g slimfast), followed up with leftover dinner for lunch (another 30 carbs) and then 10 worth of snacks leaving me with a total 61 for the day. Dinner, well.. that's where it fell apart. We tried something new and while I think it will work next time, it left me feeling wholly hungry.. okay... close to starving. At around 8:30, I broke down and had myself a large bowl of cereal (no, not the reduced carb kind, if there is such a thing)... in short, I was pleasantly full, content and happy after that. I wonder if there's such a thing as a cereal diet.. eat all the chocolate coated sugar bombs you want and lose weight? Probably not. Oh well, today is another day. As long as I know I'm trying and I'm making an effort at it, it doesn't matter what other people think. Tonight is going to the gym night for the first time in a while. I'm a little apprehensive about it since I've been sick and my knees have been paining me lately, but I don't really have a choice, so we're going. I gotta be into work early this morning (8 instead of 8:30) so I can get time with the scanner. I've got 2 feet of paper that I need to scan into this infernal machine... paperless society by the year 2000 my ass. There isn't much else to report. Time to go wake up the hubbster. Later! Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE! |
