Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

The first week!
It's now Thursday... yep... I'm making it my personal responsibility to let you know when the weekend gets here! That happens tomorrow :)
We had another productive hour at the gym and I made my personal goal of going at least three times a week. Yeay me!
I decided to use the miles I'm walking and biking to take a trip. I want to see the Statue of Liberty, Broadway and Ellis Island.. so I'm saving my miles. So far, I'm at 11 miles my first week... look at me go! I'm like mercury!
I'm a little achy, but nothing I can't handle.
I've also been in contact with my insurance company and my new blood sugar monitor (One-Touch Ultra) will be at my house within 7-10 days. I also have the ability to see a Diabetic counselor to learn more about my diabetes and how to take better care of it. I have to have a referral from my primary care physician, but that's generally not too difficult to get. I have another prescription for my blood pressure, and hopefully that'll be about it.
In short, things are going okay. Nothing great to write home about, right now.. but I'm starting to work on things again.. so that's a huge positive!
