Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

2002-10-03 - 10:04 a.m.

Thinking ahead

Well, I'm on the phones again today. It's okay I guess. I had a day off yesterday (head and tummy decided to conspire against me).

So I'm back work and oh so refreshed... no really. I'm excited about the weekend, I have one or two University classes to attend, but otherwise, I have the entire day to just sit and be with people at an INSIDE event. I'll be over at the Herald's table, being my so very efficient self but I'm not tied to it, I can go and do what I like.

The following weekend is Crusades. My most favorite event of the entire year. This is the event that made me love the SCA. This is the event that I played so hard at one year, I could barely swallow mashed potatoes, I was SO exhausted (but in a good way)... It's the event that I authorized in combat archery and became the second member of the Caer Mear archer corps (the first female). It'll be a year ago that someone I know was knighted... wow... what a year it's been.

Lots of growing, shrinking, thinking, learning and deciding has been going on.

I inted to do combat archery, knees willing. We will have to see how the weather is... if it's cold and damp, you'll find me sitting on the edge of the field looking wistfully.

Tonight, I'm working on the COH exchequer report with the outgoing exchequer, tomorrow night we're getting ready for University and I'm working on a Herald's banner, Saturday is University and Sunday is HOME :)

Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE!

For Matt, come home safe and sound! We miss you!
