Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

Not a heck of a lot going on. I spent some time on the phone with a good friend and had one of those good revelations and I was able to pass on some words of wisdom a good friend and mentor gave me recently.
I told her about my self-improvement project and found that she's in the midst of one herself. We are good friends, but I found out last night that we have more in common that either of us first realized.
I've had several people tell me that they're proud of my changes so far, and that I am doing a great job. Thank you. I've got a ways to go, but I'm proud of me too.
I really need to learn latin.
