Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

Troubling Tuesdays.
Well, the split didn't happen, at least it won't be happening for another two weeks. They decided to wait until the beginning of next month now.
It's not bad, except the computers have been switched, the email is switched, the phones are switched, and they've decided not to forward mail of the scum-sucking claims specialists (nevermind they said they would, then changed their mind).... did I tell you I'm one of the great scum-sucking unwashed? What a way to emphasize the class division... a lovely "you're not worth what it takes to forward your email." It's not like we pay per email or something. Oh well, I'm one of the peons, I should get used to it.
On another front, well, there really isn't one today. It's a day of working then going home and hopefully having the energy to get some cleaning done and maybe some spinning or calligraphy time. I found some 11 x 17 and some 9 x 11 parchment at the local Wal Mart. Nope, it's not the good stuff, but I can at least use it to figure out placement and what the style I'm practicing would look like as a finished scroll (at least the calligraphy part.. I suck at illumination.. it's just not my thing).
The spinning is going... I'm not an expert at it by any means, but I'm having fun. I just can't have too much fun at one time, otherwise I'll use up the rolag I have and then I'll be going through withdrawal pains while I try to find more. Sort of like an addict looking for a fix.
But truthfully, if this is all I have to be troubled with, I'm doing damn good.
