Admissions of a Pre-Cleaner

Okay, I admit it, I'm a pre-cleaner. I've tried the 12-step programs, but they didn't work for me. I'm not going to change, so I might as well just admit it and learn to deal with it.

I should probably explain.... we have someone who comes to clean for us. We like her, she does a great job, but I still spend a bit of time the night before she comes "straightening up". Last night's straightening got a little out of hand... I cleaned the dining room and then went on to clean the bathrooms.

Of course I didn't get this burst of energy until around 9:00 last night, and I was in bed by like 10:30.

She's also coming back while we're at Pennsic, so we have a nice clean house to come home to after our vacation.

On another note, we found the sno cone syrup we so desperately needed (there's nothign worse than seeing my love in a full-blown sad.) We also stopped off at the Jo Ann Fabric store and bought some dark blue and white for a particolor dress that I plan to work on tonight (the house will be nice and spotless so I won't have to spend time cleaning.

The other news is, I put on a pair of pants that I used to wear to my old job this morning, and well, they're HUGE. I'm still losing weight and these little surprises are just plain fun!

Honey is doing better, now she's decided she doesn't want her twice a day treat (anti inflammatory); but she's happy to spend the day in her crate, and our carpets appreciate the break. She managed to wait for us to get home last night (not quiet 7PM); and she went outside immediately.

I think we found the key.

Update: I think all this talking on the phone and whatnot is helping me to lose my voice... it's got a gravelly quality that's not at all sexy.

Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE!

For Matt, come home safe and sound! We miss you!
