Veteran's Day and an Etiquette Question

2002-05-24 - 2:29 p.m.

Things Change... HA!

Well, the more things change, the more they stay the same. Yeah, I know, don't tell you something you already know.

When I worked for the state, the day before a holiday (even "just" a one day holiday) was a good reason for people to come into the office to clear off their desk and dump a huge "to do" pile on MY desk. Well, now that I work at a law firm, I'd hoped that would change. I was wrong, so very very very wrong.

Someone must have sent up a "Rhiannon's leaving the office at 3:00, let's make sure she's got PLENTY to do on Tuesday" flag. Right now, I've got three stacks of claim forms. One stack to qc, one stack to make folders for (I've already made sure the stuff is in the database drop down list), and one stack to be entered (in addition to the stack that needs folders... once the folders are made, they get added to the "needs to be entered" stack.

Please don't forget to answer my survey... it's research for a small business idea... all comments appreciated, no reasonable offer refused!!! It won't take five minutes, I PROMISE!

For Matt, come home safe and sound! We miss you!
